We will be working with the the assisted living and independent living areas (approximately 400 people). We would like to have a minimum of 8 volunteers for this project.
If you can't work the whole day, please list when you can be there.
If you have a digital camera, please say so and put the exact model number so Charlie can be sure he has the right drivers. Thanks!
Friendship Village will be providing lunch and snacks for this event as well. |

We will be taking all photos in Friendship Hall. There are approximately 200 photos left to be taken. If we can get them all done today, we will not need to go back on Sunday.
Dress code is casual and comfortable - not business casual.

Reading in the Enchanted Forest, which is on the left wall as you walk into the Children's Area. Pick up the books at the reference desk in the middle of the area.

Kiwanis Night at the Ballpark! The Sox will be playing the Detriot Tigers. If the I-I buys more than 1000 tickets, they will show the Kiwanis PSA on the big screen and International President Steve Siemens will throw out the first pitch!

The club will most likely buy a block of Lower Reserved tickets.
Our tickets are $18 since the Kiwanis block sold out. We will be in the Upper Deck Reserved Section.
The game was fun! The White Sox won 7-0 after hitting many home runs, including a grand slam. They showed the Kiwanis International "One Can Make a Difference" promotional ad on the big screen before the game, and showed "Sox Welcome Chicagoland Kiwanis Clubs" on the scoreboard during the game. Outgoing I-I District Governor Amron Buchanon threw out the ceremonial first pitch, and a Kiwanis member also sang the national anthem. |

Shifts:
Thursday 6-8:30am ish (Sch Train Station)
Friday 6-9am and 4-7pm (or 3pm if you can make it!)
Saturday 9am-Noon, Noon-3pm (Sorry for the time change!)
Please indicate which shift you can work. The most profitable collection time is Friday afternoon, so please try to make that shift if you can. We really appreciate it if you could take a half day to come and help us out. Thanks! |
