| Additional Description | Kiwanis Night at the Ballpark! The Sox will be playing the Detriot Tigers. If the I-I buys more than 1000 tickets, they will show the Kiwanis PSA on the big screen and International President Steve Siemens will throw out the first pitch! See the back of the May-June 2006 Illeiowan for more details! Lower Reserved $14 Bleachers $13.50 The club will most likely buy a block of Lower Reserved tickets. Our tickets are $18 since the Kiwanis block sold out. We will be in the Upper Deck Reserved Section. The game was fun! The White Sox won 7-0 after hitting many home runs, including a grand slam. They showed the Kiwanis International "One Can Make a Difference" promotional ad on the big screen before the game, and showed "Sox Welcome Chicagoland Kiwanis Clubs" on the scoreboard during the game. Outgoing I-I District Governor Amron Buchanon threw out the ceremonial first pitch, and a Kiwanis member also sang the national anthem. |
