We will be helping out at the Kenneth Young Resale Shop.
Besides being a fund-raiser, the shop serves the community by providing quality, affordable clothing and household items for those who need to seek a bargain, as well as those who have fun looking for unique items.
Finally, volunteers themselves benefit from their work at the shop as they find a way to give back to their community while making friends and working on a team.

We will have the opportunity to help watch the residents children while the mom's have a chance to get out and do something fun without their kids! |

This facility has an outdoor play yard (weather permitting) and an indoor play area to help entertain the kids. There is a potential for up to 30 kids, but this is not a mandatory program so numbers may be smaller. Currently there are lots of smaller children as well, so they like to have a 2:1 ratio of kids to adults. |

Description |
This is an event put on by the American Cancer Society to honor cancer survivors. It is a 12 hour walk with teams of 8-15 person teams. It is a great time and everyone should come! |

Setup is at 4PM, the relay starts at 6PM.
The club will pay the team entry fee and then we collect pledges and donations on our own. We need 10-12 people for this event.
You do not have to stay for the entire time, although it is so much fun you will probably want to! Come anytime you can during the 12 hours. Please indicate when you sign up approximately when you will be there.
You may also purchase luminaries to honor cancel survivors or in memory of someone with cancer. The cost for this is $10.00 per luminary. Contact Laura if you'd like to purchase one.

This organization collects new and gently worn shoes to be shipped to adults and children all over the world, who do not have shoes and have had a natural diaster, such as the Tsunami. We will be cleaning shoes, sorting and boxing shoes.
