We will be helping out at the Kenneth Young Resale Shop.
Besides being a fund-raiser, the shop serves the community by providing quality, affordable clothing and household items for those who need to seek a bargain, as well as those who have fun looking for unique items.
Finally, volunteers themselves benefit from their work at the shop as they find a way to give back to their community while making friends and working on a team.

A member from Streamwood Kiwanis club has a gymnastics company called "Ups for Downs" working with children that have Downs Syndrome. They perform a play/musical for the community. This is similar to the Penguin Project, however, we think the whole cast consists of children with disabilities. |

Reading in the Enchanted Forest, which is on the left wall as you walk into the Children's Area. Pick up the books at the reference desk in the middle of the area.
Try to get there 5-10 minutes early to make sure you have enough time to get the books and get situated. Thanks! |
