We will help the Head Start Kids with their Christmas shopping at a local Wal-Mart. Please try to make it there on time, it's first come, first serve.

- Ages 12 years and older. High school community service certificates available.
- Assist WACO in taking needy preschool-aged children Christmas shopping for themselves and family members.
- The children live in Des Plaines, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Mt. Prospect, Schaumburg and other surrounding northwest suburbs.
- Volunteers must be at Walmart between 7:00 am and 7:30 am to check-in. |

The Streamwood Kiwanis annual Toy Drive and Gymnastics Meet. It is a Gymkhana Meet and admission is free if you bring a toy. So Streamwood needs help collecting all of those toys! |

Setup is on Friday, December 9th, from 6:30-8:30PM
The meet runs from 7:15AM-8PM on Saturday, December 10th, and from 7:30AM-4:30PM on Sunday, December 11th.
Tear-down is then from 5:30-6:30PM on Sunday, December 11th.
They need help lifting during Setup and Tear-Down, and the most busy times are at the shift starts (when the meets begin). |

We will be caroling in 2 units this year - the Healthcare unit and the Specialcare unit. We will carol for a half hour in each location, as well as through the halls. We will provide Santa hats and sheet music to follow along.
Event summary: We sang carols in 3 different areas (Health Care, Special Care, and the Atrium) for about a half hour each. |

Reading in the Enchanted Forest, which is on the left wall as you walk into the Children's Area. Pick up the books at the reference desk in the middle of the area.
