Each year, the Governor of the I-I will make an official visit to our Division. Come, meet the Governor, and support the District! |

Governor McConnell wants this to be a "training" visit at which time he will provide some membership and guidance for club building and membership retention.
No individual costs to attend - fee is $25 per club.
Coffee and donuts will be served in the morning. Following the Governor's presentation, pizza, pasta, salad and beverages will be served. Additionally there will be a 50/50 raffle.

We filling shoe boxes with toys and other small necessities for children in third-world countries. We will wrap the shoe boxes as well. Important: We NEED SHOE BOXES and LARGE RUBBERBANDS for this project. Please let me know if you have any even if you are not attending this event. (Please put in your comments below if you will be bringing any shoe boxes so we know if we have to get some at the last minute) Thanks!

We will be shopping for a Thanksgiving basket to donate to a family in Schaumburg Township. We will purchase non-perishable items and a gift card for a turkey.
Some of the suggestions for the basket are:
- Sweet potatoes
- Boxed mashed potatoes
- Canned veggies
- Gift certificate for turkey
- stuffing mix
- etc.
Spent $50 on food (Jewel), $50 on gift certificate (Jewel), $10 on 66L tote (Target). |
