Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a national organization whose mission is to eliminate pediatric cancer and to provide hope and support to those who are touched by it.
Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Inc. (BNPCFI) is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in late 1992 by Kathleen A. Casey, President. The foundation is named in memory of her eight year old son, Barrett "Bear" Krupa, who died after a courageous five and a half year battle with Wilms Tumor, a pediatric cancer.

We will be helping out at the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation's 26th Anniversary Bear Tie Ball! We will be helping with miscellaneous items during the night: guest registration, monitoring the silent auction, live auction bid spotting, raffle ticket selling, selling merchandise, and clean up.
The evening will begin with cocktails and a small silent auction including patient art. Followed by dinner, a short program, auctions, dancing and live entertainment; it will be a night to remember!
Event Shift volunteers are asked to wear all black professional attire (dresses, skirts, pants, suits) and a name tag. A volunteer dinner is served during the event shift.
