Giving Tuesday is a worldwide movement to encourage people to give back at the start of the holiday season (very important after Black Friday and Cyber Monday!). eKiwanis participates in Giving Tuesday by running a Facebook fundraiser. Members are asked to donate (as they are able), share the fundraiser, and invite their friends and family to participate. |

Help us get the word out about our Giving Tuesday fundraiser! Please help us by:
- Giving via our Facebook fundraiser, as you are able. (Please give as close to you can to 7:00 a.m., as this is when the Facebook match begins. The match funding has historically been given away very quickly!. Give HERE: https://www.facebook.com/donate/460280254865670/
- Email your friends, family, and coworkers on Black Friday and steer them to our fundraiser (use template below).
- Share the Fundraiser on your Facebook page!

We will help the Head Start Kids with their Christmas shopping at a local Wal-Mart. Please try to make it there on time, it's first come, first serve.

Notes
- Ages 12 years and older. High school community service certificates available.
- Assist WACO in taking needy preschool-aged children Christmas shopping for themselves and family members.
- The children live in Des Plaines, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Mt. Prospect, Schaumburg and other surrounding northwest suburbs.
- Volunteers must be at Walmart between 7:00 am and 7:30 am to check-in. |

You MUST be 18 or older and stay for the entire duration of the event.
We recommend wearing a hoodie with a large pocket to hold markers and gift tags and such.
