Description |
Prepare a snack, either in the LPCS kitchen or at home (TBD), to be taken to our Community Engagement Program at Saint Pauls United Church of Christ.
Volunteers will need to either bring something to transport the snack or use containers or platters to take it to CEP. Plan on a snack for roughly 30-40 people. CEP Snack Volunteers are welcome to stay at CEP to help out, but are not expected to.
Ideas for snacks include muffins, brownies, cookies, trail mix, chips & dips, meat & cheese platters, chex mix. Simple snacks are best! |

Description |
LPCS Community Engagement Program takes places on Sunday afternoons at Saint Pauls Church. This is an opportunity to work with community clients who are directly experiencing homelessness.
CEP Hospitality
Join LPCS staff members to help serve snacks, and facilitate showers, laundry, and other vital services for those individuals directly facing homelessness.
Time Commitment: Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30pm except for holiday weekends
Requirement: Volunteers must be 16 or older, but we advise 18 and up |

Description |
We assist in the Food Market of the People's Resource Center. The Food Market is where underpriviledged families receive groceries. It is set up like a grocery store and the clients can "shop" for their food. We sort food, stock shelves, and assist clients with selecting their items.
Please dress comfortably and casually. Jeans and gym shoes are fine. It can get a little cold in the food pantry in the winter, so please dress accordingly.
Please do not park in the parking lot directly outside of the building. Street parking is available.
