| Event Description | This organization collects new and gently worn shoes to be shipped to adults and children all over the world, who do not have shoes and have had a natural diaster, such as the Tsunami. | Additional Description | Please indicate times you are interested in when signing up. They are working on a shipment of 11,000 pairs of shoes to send to Kenya, so they need a lot of help! RECAP: We were at a laundromat washing the shoes in the machines the whole time. We washed about 40 loads of shoes. Some high school kids were at the laundromat with us, and other volunteers kept bringing more shoes to be washed. |
