This is an event put on by the American Cancer Society to honor cancer survivors. It is a 12 hour walk with teams of 8-15 person teams. It is a great time and everyone should come! |

The club will pay the team entry fee and then we collect pledges and donations on our own.
You do not have to stay for the entire time, although it is so much fun you will probably want to! Come anytime you can during the 12 hours. Please indicate when you sign up approximately when you will be there.
You may also purchase luminaries to honor cancel survivors or in memory of someone with cancer. The cost for this is $10.00 per luminary. Contact Leslie if you'd like to purchase one. |

This is a chance for Kiwanians from literally around the world to meet for fun, education, service, and to elect new officers to serve on the International Kiwanis Board.
Convention registration is $150 before 4/15 and $175 after 4/15. Register at http://www.kiwanis.org/convention/ Our Club Key # is K16631 and you can find your Membership ID by clicking your name on the Membership List
At the Reading Party on Monday June 28, over 300 kids are expected to come select a book to keep and get read to. Books are being provided, but they need our help in reading to the kids and helping them pick out books. This is going to be a great service project opportunity. Sign up in advance at http://www.kiwanis.org/convention/readparty.asp.
District Events:
Riverboat Cruise on the Mississippi River on Sunday, June 27. $52 a person. Official district dinner on Monday, June 28 at the St. Louis Zoo. $45 a person. Sign up at http://www.ii-kiwanis.org/ by May 3.
