Phil's Friends is a non-profit cancer foundation that sends care packages and monthly mailings to individuals who are fighting cancer. We help with packing care packages, stuffing mailings or addressing envelopes. If you have any coloring talent, they also need help with this (great project for the kids). |

This is a food bank near Midway. Their motto is "Providing food for Hungry People"

Also, please wear long pants and close toed shoes as we will be working in a warehouse.
They also ask that each volunteer bring an item of canned or non-perishable food to donate. A list of most needed food items is available upon request. |

Reading in the Enchanted Forest, which is on the left wall as you walk into the Children's Area. Pick up the books at the reference desk in the middle of the area.

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a national organization whose mission is to eliminate pediatric cancer and to provide hope and support to those who are touched by it.
Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Inc. (BNPCFI) is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in late 1992 by Kathleen A. Casey, President. The foundation is named in memory of her eight year old son, Barrett "Bear" Krupa, who died after a courageous five and a half year battle with Wilms Tumor, a pediatric cancer.

We will be helping out at the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation's 25th Anniversary Bear Tie Ball! We will be helping with miscellaneous items during the night.
The evening will begin with cocktails and a small silent auction including patient art. Followed by dinner, a short program, auctions, dancing and live entertainment; it will be a night to remember!
This is a black tie event.
