Giving Tuesday is a worldwide movement to encourage people to give back at the start of the holiday season (very important after Black Friday and Cyber Monday!). eKiwanis participates in Giving Tuesday by running a Facebook fundraiser. Members are asked to donate (as they are able), share the fundraiser, and invite their friends and family to participate. |

Kids Above All is an organization that serves children- many early childhood and foster care support programs. They are in need of volunteers to help sort the gifts that are donated for their holiday gift drive. Volunteers may be sorting or assembling gift bags ready for distribution. The organization will be assembling 1000+ gift bags this year over the course of two weeks! |

We will be hosting a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament with Rockford Charitable Games Association.

Potential shifts below. We'd like 2 people present the entire time, but only 1 is required. We can split the time however we want.
12:30 PM - 4:00 PM
4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
7:30 PM - 11:00 PM
11:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Someone working the first shift will have to arrive by 12:15 with forms and a check from Charlie.
The eKiwanis is the operator of the event, the others present are consultants. As such, we have to be present at all times.
We can sell chips when people come in and cash them out when they leave. Or we can just be there. Rockford Charity does the majority of the work, we are just there to be the hosting charity. |
