Description |
We will help the Head Start Kids with their Christmas shopping at a local Wal-Mart. Please try to make it there on time, it's first come, first serve.

Notes
- Ages 12 years and older. High school community service certificates available.
- Assist WACO in taking needy preschool-aged children Christmas shopping for themselves and family members.
- The children live in Des Plaines, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Mt. Prospect, Schaumburg and other surrounding northwest suburbs.
- Volunteers must be at Walmart between 7:00 am and 7:30 am to check-in. |

Reading in the Enchanted Forest, which is on the left wall as you walk into the Children's Area. Pick up the books at the reference desk in the middle of the area.
Try to get there 5-10 minutes early to make sure you have enough time to get the books and get situated. Thanks! |

We will meet at the entrance to the Lincoln Park Zoo, near the intersection of Stockton and Webster, at 5:00pm, enjoy the lights for a couple of hours, and then walk to The Galway Arms, a nearby Irish pub, for some food and drinks. Come for all or part of the evening, and invite your friends! Please sign up below and list any guests so we can have an accurate reservation with the restaurant. |
