| Event Description | Each year School District 54 adopts a needy family. We shop for gifts to give to this family for Christmas. |
| Additional Description | We will also be shopping for our WINGS holiday gifts. Following the shopping we will go have dinner at a local restaurant. Feel free to join in the shopping! RECAP: We shopped for a family with 2 parents and 4 children. For the 5-year old girl we bought 2 outfits, pajamas, a Barbie, and some other toys. For the 7-year old boy we bought pants, shirts, pajamas, a remote controlled car, and some other toys. For the 10-year old boy we bought pants, shirts, pajamas, Legos, Sorry game, and some other toys. For the 15-year old boy we bought a Best Buy gift card and Old Navy gift card. For the parents we bought a Wal-Mart gift card. |
