| Additional Description | This is the 2007 Special Olympics Illinois Northeastern Area District Softball Tournament. They have 23 teams registered to participate! VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION: Check in volunteers as they arrive, pass out t-shirts and information. (7:30am–12:30pm and/or 12:30pm-5:30pm) TEAM REGISTRATION: Check in teams as they arrive, pass out coaches’ packets and information. (8:00am-1:00pm and/or 1:00pm-5:00pm) LUNCHHOSPITALITY: Set up clean up lunch area, help distribute lunches to athletes, volunteers and coaches. Oversee the hospitality area for officials. (10:30am-2:00pm) SCORER: Keep official scorebook, including individual statistics and running score. (8:00am-1:30pm, 1:30pm-6:30pm) TOURNAMENT CENTRAL: Staff the information table and be responsible for making sure that game scores, score sheets and Field volunteers are set. Keep tournament brackets up to date and answer questions. (8:00am-1:00pm, 1:00-6:00pm) FIELD SUPERVISOR: Oversee all operations on field. Make sure teams and all officials are present and ready at assigned game times. Report scores and take score sheets to Tournament Central. (8:00am-1:00pm, 1:00pm-6:00pm) AWARDS: Organize and present awards to teams. (12:30pm-6:30pm) |
