| Event Description | Join us and other fellow Kiwanis Clubs for the GoBabyGo Project! We will be building custom motorized vehicles for kids with Spina Bifida |
| Additional Description | Join the River Forest Oak Park Kiwanis Club for their signature GoBabyGo Project! For this project the River Forest Oak Park Kiwanis Club partners with the Illinois Spina Bifida Association and NuMotion, a mobilized wheelchair company. Join us and other Kiwanis Clubs to help build motorized cars fitted for kids with spina bifida. The kids will come in person for their final fitting in the car and for a test drive! Help is needed for assembling the car, registration, lunch set up, and making trips to the store for needed parts. If you can't stay the whole time, you can come in the morning and leave early. In the past, we helped in the morning until early afternoon. Most of the car building takes place in the morning and most kids/families come in the morning for the fitting. |
