Event Description For the month of November, we are encouraging Kiwanians to collect items to donate to The Night Ministry, which is an agency located in Chicago. The Night Ministry serves individuals experiencing homelessness, with emphasis on LGBTQ+ youth and young adults. The agency is in need of basic health and human care items (listed below). Items collected will be distributed to individuals in Chicago.

We encourage you to clean out your closets and drawers and ask friends, relatives, or coworkers if they would like to contribute. Members are welcome to purchase items, too!

We will give a half-hour of service for everyone who participates, but please add a comment if you spend more time. Thank you!

Items needed:

Travel/Sample Size Toiletries:
Toothbrush and Toothpaste
Shampoo and Conditioner
Deodorant
Body soap
Body lotion
Mouthwash
Lip balm
Comb/brush
Disposable razor
Shaving cream

Assorted Essentials:
Trail mix (individual packages)
Soft granola bars
Disposable plates and utensils
White or black socks*
White t-shirts*
Underwear*
Hand sanitizer
Disinfectant wipes
