| Event Description | This is a service project for the Humanitarian Service Project ( http://www.humanitarianservice.org ). We put everything needed for a child's birthday in a wrapped shoe box or gift bag. The box or bag is then given to a child living in poverty so they can have a happy birthday! Note: Prior to 2014, this was Birthday-in-a-box. |
| Additional Description | What we purchased: Jewel ($1.25 each = $40) 16 boxes Cake Mix 16 tubs Frosting Dollar Store ($1.00 each = $91) 3 pkgs of 80 Candles 6 pkgs of 25 Balloons 8 double roll pkgs Streamers 11 matching sets Cups, napkins, plates 4 solid sets cups, plates (Michelle donated add'l napkins) 4 pkgs of 48 Forks 2 boxes Baggies (to break down balloons and forks) 5 rolls Wrapping paper 4 rolls Tape Optional items: 16 pkgs Party Hats and/or blowers |
