For more info, see their website at http://www.bearnecessities.org
Additional Description Every year Bear Necessities has a gala ball to raise funds. The event includes cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, a live auction, and a raffle. They need a lot of help with this event. Members have helped in the past and have had a lot of fun.

There are two shifts for this project. The first shift is from 9AM-5PM. Tasks during this shift include set-up which will be putting together goody bags, table set-up, silent auction security, those types of general tasks.

The second shift is from 4:30PM-12:30 AM during the actual event. Tasks include registration, greeters, rafle sales, live auction spotters, etc.

Volunteers tasks and exact times will be determined based on how many people sign up. When you sign up, please indicate your desired shift and whether you can stay for the whole time. The volunteer coordinator will then contact you with details about your assigned task.

Signup deadline is Monday February 12.

RECAP: This project was a lot of fun. We worked the silent auction tables, watching the items and checking the bid sheets. Kathy worked the tables with patient art, paintings made by the the kids. Kim and Julie worked the entertainment table, which was a lot of gift certificates, such as for restaurants and bars. The auction was very busy before and after dinner and during dinner we got to rest and watch the live auction and speeches.
