Come meet up with club members and friends for a Trivia Night. This is a very informal event to bring friends and prospective members together to have fun and do a little conversation about Kiwanis. This is more of a social type activity, but once people get to know us, they will want to join us.
This is a service project for the Humanitarian Service Project ( http://www.humanitarianservice.org ). We put everything needed for a child's birthday in a wrapped shoe box or gift bag. The box or bag is then given to a child living in poverty so they can have a happy birthday!
Note: Prior to 2014, this was Birthday-in-a-box.
The "Party in a Bag kits" will be used for HSP's Children's Birthday Project which provides 890 needy children, ages 3-11, with Birthday Boxes. The child receives the birthday package the week of their birthday, and provides a memorable "Special Day" for an impoverished child in our community
