We will be hosting a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament with Rockford Charitable Games Association.

Potential shifts below. We'd like 2 people present the entire time, but only 1 is required. We can split the time however we want.
12:30 PM - 4:00 PM
4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
7:30 PM - 11:00 PM
11:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Someone working the first shift will have to arrive by 12:15 with forms and a check from Charlie.
The eKiwanis is the operator of the event, the others present are consultants. As such, we have to be present at all times.
We can sell chips when people come in and cash them out when they leave. Or we can just be there. Rockford Charity does the majority of the work, we are just there to be the hosting charity. |

Shift Description: You will be assisting with our food distribution, which takes place indoors in Edgewater and outdoors in Rogers Park. You may be packing carts of food, bringing food to clients, packing bags, or stocking shelves. Please dress for the weather in case you are outdoors and wear closed-toe shoes.
Parking: There is no on-site parking at our locations. There is paid street parking on Broadway at our Edgewater location and Morse at our Rogers Park location. Free street parking is available on the surrounding neighborhood streets but can be limited. We recommend arriving early to allow time to find parking. Both locations are easily accessible via public transportation.
Confirmation: We will confirm the participant count one week before your shift. Any reserved slots unfilled five days prior to your shift will be released to general volunteers. Thank you for your understanding.

How to sign up for your assigned group shift:

Create an account:
Click “Create Account” and choose a username and password. You’ll be directed to a short registration form.
Complete the waiver:
You’ll be prompted to sign a digital waiver upon logging into your VolunteerHub profile.
Sign up for your assigned shift:
Click on the “Events” tab, find your group’s assigned shift, and click “Sign Up.” When prompted, choose the option that lists your group’s name.
Before and during your shift:
You’ll automatically receive FAQs about what to expect for your shift. On the day of service, please sign in and out using your name so we can accurately track volunteer hours. |
