| Event Description | This is a service project for the Humanitarian Service Project ( http://www.humanitarianservice.org ). We put everything needed for a child's birthday in a wrapped shoe box or gift bag. The box or bag is then given to a child living in poverty so they can have a happy birthday! Note: Prior to 2014, this was Birthday-in-a-box. |
| Additional Description | We will be putting birthday boxes together at our in-person meeting following all business. Please bring along any large shoe/boot boxes you might have around. SUPPLIES PURCHASED: Aldi - $36.48 16 boxes Cake Mix ($0.99 ea) 16 tubs Frosting ($1.29 ea) Dollar Tree ($1.00 each = $111) 3 pkgs of 80 Candles (15 per box) 6 pkgs of 25 Balloons (9 per box) 8 double roll pkgs Streamers (1 per box) 48 pkgs cutps, napkins, plates (16 matching sets) 4 pkgs of 48 Forks (12 per box) 2 boxes Baggies (to break down balloons, forks, candles) 5 rolls Wrapping paper 3 rolls Tape 6 pkgs coordinating hats 4 pkgs tiaras 4 pkgs magic wands 6 pkgs coordinating blowers 6 pkgs solid colored blowers 6 HB banners |
